Why does the calculator ask for final volume?+

Analytical concentration is based on the final prepared solution volume. The amount of solvent introduced may not always equal the validated final volume.

Should purity be included in concentration calculations?+

Only when the validated method requires a purity correction and the batch-specific analytical result is appropriate for that calculation. Document whether a correction was applied.

How is molar concentration calculated?+

After determining mg/mL, the calculator uses the entered molecular weight to estimate micromolar concentration. Verify the molecular form and molecular weight used by your method.
