Common laboratory focus

NAD+ functions as an oxidized redox cofactor and as a substrate for enzymes including sirtuins, PARPs, and CD38-family proteins. Laboratory kinetics examine substrate turnover, cofactor dependence, inhibition, and product formation using purified enzymes or defined extracts.
